Title:
[Toshiba Satellite P855-S5102] Fan too loud while CPU idle
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
On Windows 8.1, fan is NOT loud. On Ubuntu 14.04x64, fan is always too
loud (30 minutes after boot and after). BIOS is already updated.
Update: If battery power only, fan possibly quiet for more time.
I was hoping it was my LCD cooling_device4, but that has current
cooling state 100 even when fan is quiet.
