Sándor Iorgu Weisz-Cucoli, as per http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/content/cnt-dwnl/SVP1322V8E/list an update to your computer's buggy and outdated BIOS is available (R2091V7). If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BIOSUpdate does it change anything?  If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

  Front Camera not working on Sony Vaio Pro 13

  The same on my pc. On Cheese I see myself in a half for a second, then
  it shows an error message. Only in Skype does it work as it should. On
  any other browser/flash-based "chats" it does not function at all,
  only the green light shines.
