mohamed ramadan, if you used a 3.14.x kernel (which is not provided by
Ubuntu) then this doesn't fix the criteria for Fix Released as outlined
in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Status .

If you were looking for a fix in a version of the kernel provided by
Ubuntu, please reopen this report by marking the Status Confirmed.

  brightness controller not working

  the popup window show up when i press the light modification keys but the brightness is fixed at maximum
