[Bug 1417232] Re: Rename 'overlayfs' module as per upstream name 'overlay'
@brad-figg no logs are needed to diagnose this problem. Module name has
been like this since kernel 3.0+
I am investigating if this change is possible/desired in Ubuntu 14 LTS.
** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu)
Status: Incomplete => Confirmed

Title:
Rename 'overlayfs' module as per upstream name 'overlay'
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Module has been renamed upstream:
https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=ef94b1864d1ed5be54376404bb23d22ed0481feb
The reason is that some distros might want to keep 2 modules,
'overlay' and 'overlayfs'.
However this is not the case for the kernel shipped by Ubuntu; would
it be possible to support the new module name?
