[Bug 1417220] Re: After upgrade from 12 to 14.04, suspend/resume doesn't work
Hi,
The motherboard is an Intel DH77DF (sorry, not a Gigabyte as incorrectly
wrote in the other post). The CPU is an Intel Core i7 3770K.
The dmidecode commands don't do anything. Running it without parameter gives:
root@hades:~# dmidecode
# dmidecode 2.12
# No SMBIOS nor DMI entry point found, sorry.
Looking in the BIOS directly I have the following information:
Desktop Board DH77KC - BIOS Version 0069 - 02/24/2012
(I never did a BIOS updated on this board, it worked fine before, including working suspend/resume under Ubuntu 12)
In case it's relevant, here are also the BIOS Power settings:
Intel Dynamic Power Technology: Custom
Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology: Enabled
OS ACPI C2 Report: Enabled
OS ACPI C2 Report: Enabled
System Power Options:
After Power Failure: Power On
Deep S4/S5: Disabled
Wake on LAN from S4/S5: Power On - Normal
S3 State Indicator: Off
Wake System from S5: Disabled
PCIe ASPM Support: Enabled
Native ACPI OS PCIe Support: Enabled
Flash Update Sleep Delay: Disabled

Title:
After upgrade from 12 to 14.04, suspend/resume doesn't work
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
After the upgrade, the suspend/resume function doesn't work. The
system suspends (or seems to) OK. When trying to resume, the computer
turns back on, but the display doesn't come on and the system is not
visible from the network.
In /var/crash I see crash reports from apportcheckresume - I'll upload
one.
Let me know what further information or help I need to provide.
