Re: [Bug 1417665] Re: Computer turns of
I bought This Toshiba from Best Buy last week. It was pre loaded with
Windoze 8.1. I resized the partition, and installed Ubuntu 14.04. I
upgraded to 14.10. I never noticed any problems with 14.04, only with
14.10, but that does not mean much because I upgraded almost right away.
I do not work from the Windoze much, but I never noticed it shutting
down. I only work from the Windoze side when I have to work on my taxes.
When I am in 14.10, just before it shuts down, everything freezes. That
is when I know it is going to restart. It usually happens at least once
an hour.
I have never done anything like what you are asking me to do, but I
would try. However, I really do not understand what to do from the
directions given. What do I download, and how do I install or run it?
