[Bug 1417220] Re: After upgrade from 12 to 14.04, suspend/resume doesn't work

Good news: I have updated the BIOS and now the suspend/resume works
again! Thank you!

At least I think it was the BIOS. I did perform a Ubuntu update one of
the past days out of habit - I should not have done it, to make sure
that only one thing is changed in the system - sorry for that.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure it was the BIOS, so this can be marked as "not a
bug". Is there any other information that you need from my system before
closing this one?

Title:
  After upgrade from 12 to 14.04, suspend/resume doesn't work

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
After the upgrade, the suspend/resume function doesn't work. The
system suspends (or seems to) OK. When trying to resume, the computer
turns back on, but the display doesn't come on and the system is not
  visible from the network.

In /var/crash I see crash reports from apportcheckresume - I'll upload
  one.

Let me know what further information or help I need to provide.
