[Bug 1058124] Re: 10de:0a6c [Latitude E6410] sudden freeze during session with nouveau
C de-Avillez, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ .
If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in
the development release from a Terminal
(Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:
apport-collect -p linux <replace-with-bug-number>
** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu)
Status: Confirmed => Incomplete

Title:
10de:0a6c [Latitude E6410] sudden freeze during session with nouveau
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I had rebooted, after applying current updates (including the new
kernel), and was resetting the workspaces as I want them. Last command
was opening the dash via the super key, starting guake, then pressing
F12 to have the guake screen shown.
Guake was shown, and I lost control of keyboard/mouse/touchpad.
SSH-ed in thru another laptop, and opened this bug.
WORKAROUND: Install nvidia-current.
