[Bug 1417363] Re: touchpad stops working after suspend/resume on XPS13 2015
This bug is awaiting verification that the kernel in -proposed solves
the problem. Please test the kernel and update this bug with the
results. If the problem is solved, change the tag 'verification-needed-
utopic' to 'verification-done-utopic'.
If verification is not done by 5 working days from today, this fix will

See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how

Bug description:
The touchpad on XPS13 2015 would work in I2C mode with kernel 3.16+ and it would stop working after resume from suspend with an utopic kernel. This issue can be fixed by introducing two commits from upstream:
109571c - HID: i2c-hid: call the hid driver's suspend and resume callbacks
5b44c53 - HID: i2c-hid: Do not free buffers in i2c_hid_stop()
