[Bug 1359997] Re: Touchpad of HP Chromebook 14 no longer works with latest kernel
None of the v3.16 kernels seems to fix the issue but the 3.17 kernel
resolves the bug. I am currently running 3.17.8 and the touchpad works
fine.
The following patches can be used to fix current and other upstream
kernels that don't work.

Bug description:
After the recent upgrade to the 3.13.0-34 kernel the touchpad on the
HP Chromebook 14 with Ubuntu 14.04 installed via chrubuntu no longer
works. By booting up with the previous version of the kernel which is
3.13.0-32, the touch pad works fine.
$ lsb_release -rd
