Title:
Display Port on Nouveau breaks with linux 3.13.0-24
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I have been happily using 3.11.0-19 since upgrading to 14.04 LTS.
Over the weekend I allowed the system to update to 3.13.0-24. While
my laptop is undocked, the display works find (built in display).
When I dock the laptop into the port-replicator which has 2 monitors
attached via Display Port, the screen becomes severely distorted (very
low resolution and many artifacts). The only way I could get the
system working again was to pick the older 3.11.0-19 kernel from Grub.
For this reason, this 'ubunut-bug' collected information about the
good configuration. Due to the level of corruption I don't believe it
would be possible to collect a report while running the broken kernel.
Please fix. This is a horrible regression.
