I can confirm this bug. I am using a bcm43228 network controller with
bcmwl-kernel-source 60.30.223.248+bdcom.

Bug description:
Whenever I boot into the linux kernel 3.18.0-13, almost as soon as my
WiFi connects to a network, I get a kernel panic. This bug has been
found and worked around in the arch linux forums [

I am using a broadcom bcm4312 network controller through driver source
provided by bcmwl-kernel-source 60.30.223.248+bdcom in Ubuntu amd64
15.04.
