[Bug 1193639] Re: [Fujitsu Siemens Amilo a1650g] randomly freeze of sysem during use a battery
regards
I suspect I have a very similar problem.
have Lubuntu 14.04 x64 installed on a Amilo A1650G and experience regular full freeze of the system.
running with power suply or battery makes no difference. the freeze
always takes place between 10 and 30 minutes. the whole system is
paralyzed. open a virtual console does not work. REISUB also does not
work. need to shut down per power button.
have installed the linux-crashdump package but need further instructions. which informations / files you need?
is /var/crash/_usr_bin_lxsession.1000.crash the right one?
i'm total beginner but ready to learn and follow every order.

battery
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
I have a fujitsu siemens amilo a1650g with Lubuntu 13.04 kernel linux 3.8.0-26-generic
the total block of the system that occurs after a few minutes of use since the laptop is disconnected from the power supply, the problem occurs more quickly by using the touchpad with the use of a usb mouse (with the power supply locks rarely).
At the time of the block (sometimes with a white screen, others with the presence of vertical or horizontal stripes) keyboard commands do not respond, forcing me to close out ... problem that presents also on the verified live cd
