[Bug 1435421] [NEW] Dell XPS 15 - audio combo jack - microphone not working

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Combo jack (headphones and microphone) working only as headphone output.
Microphone is not detected at all when plugged-in.

My exact laptop model is: Dell XPS 15 9530.

I'm on 14.04 LTS, but I dont think its version-related. What more
informations shall I collect and post here?

I have also sent a report via http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh.
Would it help if I include one here?
