[Bug 1372393] Re: [Acer Aspire E5-572G] touchpad not recognised

Yes indeed, I mentioned only touching not clicking...
Concernig the "bug 1188025" that you mentioned it writes that is fixed
on kernel 3.13, and I think this the default kernel for ubuntu, which
did not recognise it at all
Concerning the link [1] that you mentioned, I took a quick view and do you suggest to follow this guide?
If yes I would like you help because I am afraid that I will mess it up..
Firstly in this guide is mentioned of configuring the file
50-synaptics.conf which is located to
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-synaptics.conf but in my system there is no such
a file there, but (by searching on root) I found that on
/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-synaptics.conf.
Now I am going to show you the contents of this file, and If you think
this is the solution of the problem you could suggest me what to do
next...

I recently bought an acer aspire e15 e5-572g-5577 notebook, I have installed Ubuntu 14.04 and the touchpad doesn't work at all..
It is not even recognised as a device..
