Artur Pinheiro, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in
the development release from a Terminal
(Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect -p linux <replace-with-bug-number>

Title:
  12.04: Toshiba Tecra R840 fail to resume after suspend

Bug description:
  Trying to resume from suspend fail.

  The only activity in the laptop is the cooler fan that seems to be put
  to maximum. There are no caps lock binking, no disk activity. Then
  display stays black. Then /var/log/pm_* don't shoes nothing special
  (no error on suspend, no messages on resume). I have to restart the
  computer.

  I try pm-suspend and s2ram, the results are the same.

  Suspend/resume works well with 11.10.
