[Bug 1443873] Re: Dell XPS 15 (9530) - Wifi hard blocked on startup
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v4.0 kernel[0].
If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following
tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.
If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag:
'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.
If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, for example it will not boot, please add the tag: 'kernel-unable-to-test-upstream'.
Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed".
Thanks in advance.

Title:
Dell XPS 15 (9530) - Wifi hard blocked on startup
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
My Wifi seems to be hard blocked when powering my notebook and could
not be unblocked via keyboard switch (Fn + print_screen) nor any other
hardware key. Only if I go to suspend mode and resume the Wifi is
unblocked.
Laptop model is Dell XPS 15 (9530) with Intel 7260 AC Wifi card.
I'm using Ubuntu 15.04, same problem with 14.04 LTS and 14.10. BIOS
installed: A08 (also had this problem with A06 and A07). Wifi is
working in Windows 8.1 without problems.
Output of cat /sys/kernel/debug/dell_laptop before suspending:
