[Bug 1445222] Re: external keyboard doesn't work

thank you for your reply.

I tried rebooting by completely shutting down the power before
submitting the bug and it still persisted, however, a day later I just
plugged out the wireless receiver of the keyboard & mouse and plugged it
into another USB port and now it works fine.

It seems I have a hardware problem with that USB port, so sorry for
taking up your time. I got mislead by this post:

I'll check the USB connector on my motherboard and see if the problem
persists but this bug can be closed.

Bug description:
  After updating the software on my machine to the last version, the external keyboard stopped working.
  I tried with two keyboards - one didn't work at all and on the other only the letters worked.
  Both keyboards work on another computer.
