You may need to run the following from a terminal:

sudo apt-get install -f
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update

Then re-install the package.

If that does not resolve your issue, please mark the bug as "Confirmed"

  Incomplete

Bug description:
  auto upgrade possibly made /b00t 100% full
  Had to o delete on /boot older images and other 5 file start 36-43 and currently on 44 and next 46 had failed as above.
  So now unable to update and fix this
  any help welcome
  Not kernel or security bug, but a  100% /boot  abort while auto update put system into inconsistent state
