Status in HWE Next Project:
Incomplete
Status in linux-lts-utopic package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
CID: 201408-15447 Dell Vostro 3449
The wireless key does not work on this system at all.
acpi_osi=\"!Windows 2012\" parameter can't make it work.
And unlike bug 1434442, adding "options dell_laptop force_rfkill=1" into /etc/modprobe.d/dell.conf can't make it work as well.
ubuntu@201408-15447:~$ sudo showkey -k
kb mode was ?UNKNOWN?
[ if you are trying this under X, it might not work
since the X server is also reading /dev/console ]
press any key (program terminates 10s after last keypress)...
keycode 28 release
keycode 240 press
keycode 240 release
keycode 29 press
^Ccaught signal 2, cleaning up...
ubuntu@201408-15447:~$
nothing could be detected by using "sudo showkey -s"
