[Bug 996523] Re: 14e4:4727 After resuming from suspend, NEW wireless networks cannot connect
Daygan, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
/daily-live/current/ .
If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in
the development release from a Terminal
(Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:
apport-collect -p linux <replace-with-bug-number>

Title:
14e4:4727 After resuming from suspend, NEW wireless networks cannot
connect
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
After I resume my session from a suspended mode, when attempting to connect to a wireless network that was not the network that I was connected to most recently before suspending, the system is unable to connect, despite the fact that the presence of the network is recognized. This may be the same bug as this: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/665837 , but I have specifically noticed that in my case, I can connect to the network that I was previously connected to, but not other networks. I will have to check again to see if, in fact, I am able to connect to ALL networks that I had previously connected to before suspend, or only the one that I had most recently connected to.
