Title:
CONFIG_USB_OTG=y again in 14.04LTS causing issues in OTG devices
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I have been trying to connect Intel Edison to Ubuntu 14.04 LTS but so
far unsuccessful.
After reading
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1411295
and
https://communities.intel.com/message/260080
it seems like I should not be seeing CONFIG_USB_OTG=y in my
/boot/config* file.
Above reference bug claims 14.04 LTS shouldn't have this bug but mine
is 14.04 LTS (uname -r = 3.16.0-34-generic) but I still see
CONFIG_USB_OTG=y.
I am a new linux user so rebuilding the kernel with new setting is
probably not a good idea. Any ideas how to proceed?
