Similar problem.

Kernel log (dmesg) doesn't contain the error message "Queue 2 failed to
flush" - but the ping probes show a repeating "breaks".

Bug description:
  Wifi is unusable slow below ubuntu. Works correctly below Windows.
  The problem is the old buggy behavior of the RT3290 wifi driver and reported already and solved for older ubuntu releases.
