SRU Justification:
Impact: after every reboot, the nic on the beaglebone gets a
completely different MAC address.
Fix: Apply the patches, recompile and reboot.
Testcase: Try booting two times in a row with and without the
patches applied and check if the MAC address of eth0 changes or not.

On the beaglebone, the NIC keeps getting a random MAC after every
reboot, making it impossible to associate a static ip with the board:
