[Bug 1453352] Re: Crash at login screen after upgrade to 15.04 when running 3.19.0-16-generic

** Description changed:

  Running a Lenovo Yoga 11. Didn't have this problem on 14.10. The first
  time booting to the desktop after upgrading worked fine. After setting
  HandleLidSwitch=ignore in /etc/systemd/logind.conf and IgnoreLid=true in
  /etc/UPower/UPower.conf and rebooting, as soon as I get back to the
  login prompt the laptop shuts off after .5 seconds or so.

  If I manually boot using 3.16.0-37-generic instead of 3.19.0-16-generic,
  the laptop starts without any problem.

- I tried reverting IgnoreLid to false in /etc/UPower/UPower.conf and
- rebooting with the new kernel and the laptop still crashes.
+ I tried reverting the two changes mentioned above and rebooting, but I
+ still get the crash after the changes are reverted and I try to boot
+ with 3.19.0-16.

  I see binary data in syslog just after 00:57:14 on 9 May 2015 which is
  around the time I was trying to get the system to boot properly.
