Steve Langasek, as per http://download.lenovo.com/express/ddfm.html an
update is available for your BIOS (1.40). If you update to this, does it
change anything?
If not, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

Bug description:
This suspend was not intentionally triggered; rather, I undocked my
laptop and when I *opened* the lid, I heard it suddenly suspending.
When I hit the power button to get it to unsuspend, it beeped once
then came up with a black screen and no disk activity.
