Overheating is not the major issue, got now again the memory dump but no overheating:

  irqpoll was not applied although in the /proc/cmdline

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  System freezed with an overheating CPU and the hint "please enable
  irqpoll option". But it *is* already enabled :(
