Title:
  [Dell XPS 8700] USB mouse and keyboard unresponsive after last update

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I am running Ubuntu 14.04 on Dell XPS 8700 desktop. After reboot the
  mosue and the keyboard becomes unresponsive. I am seeing these
  messages in the dmesg.0 file --
