[Bug 578146] Re: Ubuntu 10.04 : System hangs after SCSI probing
davvidde, if you have a bug in Ubuntu, the Ubuntu Kernel team, Ubuntu Bug Control team, and Ubuntu Bug Squad would like you to please file a new report by executing the following in a terminal while booted into a Ubuntu repository kernel (not a mainline one) via:
ubuntu-bug linux

Bug description:
On a DELL studio XPS, with a fresh install of Ubuntu 10.04 x86 Desktop, the system hangs at boot almost every time (80% of the time).
Removing 'quiet splash' boot option does not help.
Booting in recovery mode does not help too.
When it hangs, the latest messages displayed are :
