  ---Problem Description---
Network installation of Ubuntu 14.04.2 netboot images is failing

  Contact Information = pavsubra@xxxxxxxxxx

  ---uname output---
  Linux alp15 3.16.0-38-generic #52~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Fri May 8 09:45:24 UTC 2015 ppc64le ppc64le ppc64le GNU/Linux

  Machine Type = P8

  ---System Hang---
The system just halts in the installation menu with cpu stalls info on the console. We need to reboot the LPAR from HMC in order to reclaim the system.

  ---Debugger---
  A debugger is not configured

  ---Steps to Reproduce---
I have copied the latest Netboot images of 14.04.2 kernel to my DHCP/TFTPBOOT server from the link:
  http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/dists/trusty-updates/main/installer-ppc64el/current/images/utopic-netboot/

Then did the TFTPBOOT setup on my TFTPBOOT server.

Then on the target Power VM client LPAR I rebooted the machine to SMS menu.
Then selected the TFTP server IP in SMS menu.

   PowerPC Firmware
   Version FW830.00 (SV830_032)

The call trace of this error looks similar to Bug LP1461688- Ubuntu 14.04.2 daily build fails to install.
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1461688

However, here the failure is from Ubuntu 14.04.2 netboot
  images(http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/netboot/trusty/ ) and NOT daily
build 14.04.2 ISO from June 3rd.
