I understood that this crash was related to efivarfs auto mount in
kernel 3.9. Kernel 3.10 and 3.11 doesn't do it automatically, that leads
to successful boot. But manual attempt to mount efivarfs in these
versions of kernel also leads to system crash.

Bug description:
  I have Intel server based on S5500BC motherboard. After upgrading from
  3.2.0 kernel to any higher version I have system crash during boot.

  WORKAROUND: Add 'noefi' as kernel parameter.
