lucid has seen the end of its life and is no longer receiving any
updates. Marking the lucid task for this ticket as "Won't Fix".

  2.6.35 kernel regression in video / High CPU Xorg on Resume

Bug description:
  1). Fresh boot scrolling over images and video playback is perfectly
  smooth

  2). Suspend / Resume

  3). Xorg CPU usage spikes over 70% now while scrolling in a browser

  4). Playing a video slows system down completely

  5) I've tested all the mainline kernels and this regression was
  introduced between v2.6.34.7-maverick and v2.6.35-maverick/
