[Bug 1210848] Re: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS - intel ips failed to update for more than 1s

 

@Nick, do you still happen to have this hardware?  We are currently
still blacklisting this specific mode and that was not sent upstream.
I'd like to come up with a better solution and not use a blacklist.

Bug description:
  This has been flooding my logs. I also think it is preventing me from
  shutting down fully. I get an error on shutting down that says it
  failed to kill running processes. This is also an issue on 13.04 fully
  updated as of today.
