[Bug 1473742] Re: Can't resume from suspend with initrd.img-3.19.0-23-generic on Dell Inspiron 1525

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v4.2 kernel[0].

If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following
tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag:
'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.

Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as
"Confirmed".

Thanks in advance.

Title:
Can't resume from suspend with initrd.img-3.19.0-23-generic on Dell
  Inspiron 1525

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
[Note I ran ubuntu-bug in the newest kernel I have, that works. I'll
just file again if it needs to be the failing one..]

Current initrd.img-3.19.0-23-generic, and older if I recall, also
failed in the same way (had to delete old kernels to make space..):

I can suspend and hear the fan go out and lights change, when going
out of suspend at least something is working as the fan comes on but
  the screen is black.

[I've updated lightdm recently and other things, that I thought might
be the reason, but older initrd.img-3.19.0-15-generic and the one I'm
  running now, initrd.img-3.19.0-20-lowlatency, still work.]

[Probably unrelated..: Recently (I guess in older kernels..) I've had suspend and resume work, but do not get WiFi after resume and then have to close the lid and after a second resume WiFi works..]
