Title:
Sony Vaio Backlight
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Lapton Sony Vaio VGN-NR160E
Ubuntu 7.10 installed, and tryed Ubuntu 8.04 Alpha 4 (LiveCD). Both x86 version.
Backlight not working.
Not from FnKeys, or Gnome, or by /sys/class/backlight.
In /sys/class/backlight, i only have 'acpi_video0', inside:
* actual_brightness
* brightness
* max_brightness
* subsystem (softlink)
* uevent
I tryed echoing to brightness and nothing worked.
Important note: I don't have '/sys/class/backlight/sony/'
