[Bug 1479790] Re: Kernel panic on boot at least since version 3.13.0-59-generic (Ubuntu)
I have used a slightly different link: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.13.11.11-trusty/
I haven't read completely, but it was working too. The computer was booting without panics and it seems to run stable, already for some minutes.
So the bug has been cleaned and I will get back to the official kernel soon.
Thank you!
Best wishes

Title:
Kernel panic on boot at least since version 3.13.0-59-generic (Ubuntu)
[kernel-fixed-upstream]
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Since I have updated Ubuntu 14.04 the newer kernel versions can't be used to boot, so GRUB 2 always has to boot an kernel version ...-57
...-61 is also not running, the versions between were never installed.
Because I can not start the computer with the defect kernels, I don't have a possibility to report with 'ubuntu-bug linux'.
