[Bug 1481442] Re: [HP Pavilion dv6-6145eo Entertainment Notebook PC] Laptop monitor turns off during boot


Tested 4.2 rc5 and it fixes this bug.

The laptop previously had 14.04 which did not have this bug. Also the 15.04 live CD did not have this bug.
It appeared only after installing updates.

It seems that this bug is duplicate of #1472794.

Bug description:
  When booting HP Pavilion dv6-6145eo with Ubuntu 15.04 the laptop
  monitor turns off in the middle of the boot.

  If I suspend and resume the computer (close and open the lid) when I
  hear the login sound the monitor turns back on and the computers works
  just fine.
