Title:
Slow I/O on USB devices
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
I am using a Dell Inspiron 1525 and I cannot copy large amounts of
files from my USB card since it does it at a very slow rate (around
300kb/s). I tested the SD card in another computer and it works
properly. It also works without problems in Windows on this machine,
so the problem must be here.
Please, let me know what info would be helpful, since I have no idea
where to start.
As an aside information: the wireless connection is also working too
slow in this machine, I don't know whether it could be a related
problem.
