  crash on resume. Linux 3.5.0-15-generic

Bug description:
  I have had problems resuming from start since I started using 12.04.

  Now I have a worse problem with the 12.10 kernel.

  in 12.04 i would come back from long resumes (short were ok) to a
  black screen, no way to get any display.  had to hard reboot.

  Now when I resume I get text output that a crash has occured and I
  must reboot.

  It might be of not that I have blacklisted mei due to the watchdog warning after resuming.
