Re: [Bug 1489298] Re: IBM/Lenovo W520 sometimes crashes while resuming after suspend
It's hard to say when the problem has started to happen since it is not
very reproducible. It happened multiple times, that's sure. But I have no
idea how to trigger it.
I'll try the 4.2 unstable now (hopefully, my 14.04.3 system accepts it).
Don't expect a "fixed upstream" confirmation before at least a month...
Regards,
Olivier

Title:
IBM/Lenovo W520 sometimes crashes while resuming after suspend
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
It's not 100% reproducible but it happens often enough to get annoying: I close the lid before going home, when I come back the next day, open the lid and get an endless repetition of "mei_me 0000:00:16.0: no destination client found".
The only way out of it is to press the power button long enough for it to switch off and reboot fresh.
In next startup, there is always a system error being reported. /var/crash contains a susres.{date}.crash file.
