[Bug 501313] Re: Lucid will not resume after suspend

The 'oldest' version of Ubuntu I'm currently using on any of my
computers is 13.04, with kernel 3.8.0-30. This bug doesn't present
itself on the newer versions.

I've marked it as 'fixed', as 'Invalid' didn't seem to fit.

Title:
Lucid will not resume after suspend

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

All I see after trying to 'wake' after an automatic suspend is a non-
blinking cursor at the upper left corner of the display. I had to turn
off the laptop, as ctrl-alt-delete did not send the shutdown signal.
