[Bug 1496269] [NEW] [Dell Inspiron 5452][Realtek 0bda:b739] Bluetooth unable to scan any devices

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

indicator-bluetooth works normally, you can turn it on and off:
Sep 16 15:26:07 201506-18421 bluetoothd[546]: Adapter /org/bluez/546/hci0 has been disabled
Sep 16 15:26:10 201506-18421 bluetoothd[546]: Adapter /org/bluez/546/hci0 has been enabled
Sep 16 15:26:15 201506-18421 bluetoothd[546]: Discovery session 0x7efcf898af50 with :1.71 activated

But when I trying to add new device there is nothing can be found.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Click on system bluetooth icon, select "Set Up New Device..."
2. Wait for device(s) apears

Expected result:
Bluetooth devices starting to show up in the list

Actual result:
Nothing shows up after at least over an hour

Workaround:

As the hint found from this bug 382404 , bug 1464576 and bug 1433987
With kernel 4.2 + ppa:hanipouspilot/rtlwifi
the bluetooth will work just fine
