Title:
Kernel 3.2.0-53 gnome-classic/gnome-panel to load slowly, laptop fn
keys not working
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
I have an ASUS X201E notebook running a manufacturer install of
Precise. I know gnome-panel and the fn keys worked in 3.2.0-52, and
have reverted back to that kernel. Up to this point, everything worked
very nicely, and as of the kernel switch, things started breaking. At
GNOME3 launch, gnome-panel went from loading within 5 seconds to
taking more than 20 seconds. Notebook Fn keys failed to operate. As I
have said, reversion to kernel 3.2.0-52 has solved those issues.
