Title:
[15.10 Regression] Sony Vaio has problems resuming from suspend
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I had Ubuntu 15.04 with Unity on a Sony Vaio laptop. Resuming from
suspend worked just fine. But after a fresh install of the 15.10 beta,
it has trouble resuming. Instead of showing the screen locker, it
shows the previous screen with a mouse pointer over the "suspend" item
in the user cog icon menu. (I suspend it from that menu, not the key
combination.) After a few seconds it shows the lock screen, but the
password field doesn't accept input for several seconds more. Finally
the screen blinks and it starts accepting password input. This process
used to be smooth and instantaneous with 15.04, now it's extremely
slow and buggy.
