Bug description:
  In SPT, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Watchdog Timer (WDT) has changed
  its architecture to communicate using the SMBus vs. LPC. This task is
  to design, and implement a new approach which will allow the upstream
  driver determine which approach to take based on the platform
