regarding this is not reproducible in Ubuntu. For future reference you

  3.19.0 Wifi is very unstable

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  With the 3.19 kernel, wifi is very unstable. I don't have this problem
  on other kernels (3.13, 3.16, 4.0, & 4.2).

  My OS is Linux Mint 17.2 Cinnamon 64-bit; I originally had been 17.1 installed before I upgraded.
