[Bug 1223352] Re: Tiny fonts, bad screen resolution with 3.0.11-6
Thanks, Barry.
I don't see any changes in the kernel log that stick out as a cause for
this. There were not many changes from 3.11.0-5.11 and 3.11.0-6.12, so
a bisect should be fairly quick.
I'll start the bisect now and post a test kernel shortly.

Tiny fonts, bad screen resolution with 3.0.11-6

Bug description:
Two different problems on two different machines.
Virtual machine running in VMware Fusion 5: After today's kernel
upgrade, all fonts and windows are too small, from the greeter through
login and desktop. Rebooting to 3.0.11-5 fixes the problem. And I've
seen this before, so it's definitely a regression that occasionally
comes back.
Native on amd64: You get to the greeter, but it doesn't respond to any
keyboard or mouse input. ssh'ing in and rebooting to 3.0.11-5 again
fixes the problem.
