  [HP Pavilion 15] Mute LED is not working

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  CID: 201306-13836 HP Pavilion 15

  The mute button itself works fine.
  There is a small LED on the mute button, but the LED seems not working

  Steps:
  1. Install 12.04.3 + update (3.8.0-33) and boot to desktop
  2. Press the mute key (f6)

  Expected result:
  - When the system is muted, the LED should be lit.

  Actual result:
  System muted, but the LED still off.
