[Bug 1501993] Re: drivers/gpu/drm/i915/intel_display.c:12326 check_crtc_state+0x2c5/0x440 [i915]()
Martin Smith, given you are the only one reporting this, and you won't
be providing any further detail, let this be closed. However, if you
have the opportunity to resume debugging, please feel free to reopen.
Despite this, given this is already fixed upstream, more than likely the
fix will flow down into the stable update channels.
For future reference you can manage the status of your own reports by
clicking on the current status in the yellow line and then choosing a
new status in the revealed drop down box. You can learn more about
report statuses at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Status. Thank you again
for taking the time to report this and helping to make Ubuntu better.
Please submit any future bugs you may find.

Title:
drivers/gpu/drm/i915/intel_display.c:12326
check_crtc_state+0x2c5/0x440 [i915]()
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
I'm seeing a kernel hang when I 'dock' my laptop into my docking station; this happens with 4.2, specifically with:
linux-image-extra-4.2.0-11-generic
linux-image-extra-4.2.0-12-generic
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1501993/+attachment/4483862/+files/kern.log
At this point I lose video, and can't do much else without a hard
reboot back to linux-image-extra-3.19.0-30-generic.
