[Bug 1469444] Re: Lack of functionality on the car bluetooth connection
Note that many of these are covered in other reports and are due to be supported once Bluez5 upgrade is done.
The phone book support has been working for some time so file a specific bug if it is not.

Title:
Lack of functionality on the car bluetooth connection
Status in Canonical System Image:
Confirmed
Status in bluez package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
BQ Aquaris E4.5 provides only basic functionality when connected via a
bluetooth to Range Rover Evoque car system. It can only reply to calls
and call numbers inserted manually from a dial pad on the car panel.
There is no support to the phone contacts, no last 10 calls (in/out)
list, no indication of GPRS/3G signal strength and no access to the
music collection on the phone. All this functionality is available on
the same car with Blackberry 10 smartphone, iPhone 5 and even old
Nokia.
